Numerology methodology
You should be able to see which method a calculator uses, what it needs from you, and why another calculator might give a different number.
Numerology is a symbolic number system. It ties numbers to meanings, patterns, and themes. MyAstroCalculator treats those meanings as spiritual or interpretive guidance, not verified scientific fact.
The site does not use one method on every page. Most core name and birth-date calculators use the Western / Pythagorean method unless the page says otherwise. A dedicated Chaldean reading uses the Chaldean letter chart. Lo Shu tools use the Lo Shu grid. Angel number pages interpret repeating numbers. They are not a heavy calculation system.

Western / Pythagorean
Letters become 1 to 9, then the total is reduced.
Many core calculators use this chart. Relevant letters or digits are added, then reduced according to the calculator type.
Life Path
Uses your full birth date. Month, day, and year are reduced, then combined. Master numbers may be kept when that page says so.
Expression / Destiny
Uses the full birth name. Each letter becomes its Pythagorean value, then the total is added and reduced.
Soul Urge / Personality
Soul Urge uses vowels. Personality uses consonants. If a page treats Y as a vowel in some names, that rule should be stated on the page.
Other systems
Chaldean, Lo Shu, house numbers, angel numbers
Chaldean numerology uses a different letter chart. The same name can produce a different number. A Chaldean result should say it uses the Chaldean chart. It should not silently mix Chaldean and Pythagorean values in one total.
Lo Shu calculators place digits in a 3-by-3 grid and read missing, repeated, or balanced numbers as patterns.
House number pages use the number tied to a home, flat, apartment, unit, or door. The page should say exactly which number is counted.
Angel number pages cover repeating patterns as modern spiritual interpretations. They are not presented as guaranteed messages or proof of outside intervention.
Master numbers
11, 22, and 33 are often kept in Western numerology, read as intensified forms of 2, 4, and 6. A calculator page should say whether it preserves or reduces them.
Karmic debt numbers
13, 14, 16, and 19 are named only when they appear through a valid calculation path. They are framed as growth patterns, not punishments.
When tools disagree
Judge the method, not only the final number.
Pythagorean, Chaldean, and Lo Shu are not the same system. Mixing them quietly is how confusion starts.
One tool keeps master numbers. Another reduces them. One counts Y as a vowel. Another does not.
A house-number page may use digits only, or letters as well. The page should say which.
Accuracy
A result should be reproducible.
Input
Show the name, date, or number the calculator used.
Values counted
Show the letter or digit values that went into the total.
Raw total
Show the unreduced sum before any reduction step.
Reduction
Show how that total became the final number, including any master-number exception.
Final number
If a result looks wrong, report it with the page URL, the input you used, and the result you expected.
